Some jewelry pieces begin with stones.
This one began with a memory.

Many years ago, on summer holidays in the south of France, I met my dear Italian friend Fila, a jewelry designer from Milan. Every summer our families spent time together near the Mediterranean, and she would arrive with small boxes filled with the most beautiful handmade pieces.

That was the first time I discovered labradorite.

I remember the way the stones seemed to hold light inside them — flashes of blue, silver and stormy grey that changed every time the sun touched them. I fell in love immediately and spent most of my vacation money buying her creations.

Fila’s unmistakable Italian design style — elegant, artistic, a little dramatic — became one of the inspirations that quietly stayed with me for years, until this day.

This necklace is a tribute to that memory.
A small moment of Mediterranean magic, reimagined in my own design language.

The Design

This delicate necklace combines luminous stones with subtle sparkle and texture.

Faceted labradorite beads catch the light with their mysterious inner glow, while small grey moonstones and a larger white moonstone add softness and calm.

Faceted Czech glass brings a subtle shimmer, and a beautifully shaped smoky quartz cone bead adds depth and contrast.

The necklace is finished with a delicate flower connector and a natural clear quartz druze, creating a small centerpiece that reflects light like tiny crystals in the morning sun.

The result is a piece that feels both mystical and elegant

— perfect for those who love jewelry with quiet character.

Why I created this piece
