Why Resist2it Belongs Here
Some creations don’t fail — they wait.
Some creations cannot be rushed.
They wait for the right place — and the right moment.
Resist2it did not begin as a business plan.
It began as a need to create something real. Something honest. Something made by hand.
In 2019, I stepped away from my work at the university, where I had been leading an international foundation. I loved that work — the travel, the conversations, the sense of purpose. But I longed for ownership. Not only of ideas, but of direction.
My first year as an independent entrepreneur went well.
And then… the world stood still.
For many people, the pandemic took away certainty. For me, it also created space — space to slow down, reflect, and begin creating again with my hands and my soul.
Long before I ever thought about selling, I started making.
I explored fashion, upcycling, and curated pre-loved luxury. I followed curiosity, not strategy. Somewhere along that path, jewelry found me — slowly, intuitively.
I taught myself the craft.
I worked with stones, weight, and balance.
I learned to listen to materials instead of trying to control the outcome.
Resist2it was born at a worktable, not in a boardroom.
The brand never chased speed.
There was no marketing budget. No pressure to scale. Only consistency, craftsmanship, and the quiet trust that some things deserve time.
For a long time, Resist2it existed in silence.
Looking back, I understand why.
Some creations don’t fail — they wait.
They wait for the right context.
For an ecosystem that can support them.
For a place where they don’t have to explain themselves.
Our store, My House My Home, was never built on shortcuts. It is curated with care, thought, and intention. It reflects the way we choose — not only products, but values.
That is why Resist2it belongs here.
These pieces are not trends. They are not seasonal statements.
They are made to be worn, lived with, and kept — objects with texture, memory, and presence.
I’m not writing this from a place of arrival.
I am still building. Still learning. Still choosing depth over speed.
But if there is one thing I know today, it is this:
Progress is often invisible.
Growth is rarely linear.
And perseverance — when it is guided by love for the work itself — is never wasted.
Resist2it is part of that journey.
Quietly.
With intention.
Here.
With love,
Jules XOXO 💕
