MOMBASA™ was born from a memory of the Kenyan coast — the first walk to the beach, the warm air, the sound of the ocean, and the colors of earth, sand, and sun.

On that first day, local artisans were selling hand-carved Maasai statues along the shore. Without hesitation, two large pieces came home with me — heavy, beautiful, and impossible to ignore. Carrying them back was quite a journey… but they became part of my home, and part of my story.
